Welcome to another WWW Wednesday.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and currently revived by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words
The three Ws stands for the following questions.
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
Girl in White Cotton by Avni Doshi
If I am being honest and I think people who are read this book would agree with me on this that this book is very uncomfortable. This book uproots the mother-daughter relationship in the most unconventional way possible and reveals the dismal reality out in the open for the readers. This book is shortlisted for the Booker Prize this year and is released as Burnt Sugar in UK.
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
What a stellar introduction this book has. It is funny, and the story is still building up. I am reading Anxious People as a part of the Backman Book Club that aims to read Fredrik Backman‘s book every month. The book of the month is Anxious People. Do you feel this is something you would be interested in?
Recently Finished: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
If you would have noticed I wasn’t around here very much last week because I had a hectic schedule. I didn’t find adequate time for reading so instead of catching up on my current reads I revisited one of my favourite classics Pride and Prejudice. Have you read this one or watched any adaptation?
Next Read: Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys
I cannot express my fondness for Jane Eyre ever. I adore the book, the character, the writing basically everything. This book has been on my radar since eternity now. I have heard it is written from the point of view of Bertha Mason, the lunatic wife of Rochester. I don’t know when I would be able to start this one because I have a lot of reads pending with me. But, whenever I can this will be my next pick.
What is your WWW? Have you read any of these books? If not, do any of the title interests you?
I started Anxious People, but haven’t finished it. I enjoyed what I read, but my moods took me to other books this week. I’ll be watching for your review.

Mini, I ADORE Pride and Prejudice the novel and the 1995 adaptation starring Colin Firth! 😉 I also enjoyed reading Wide Sargasso Sea, as I thought it was an interesting look into how Bertha becomes the ‘mad-woman in the attic’ in Jane Eyre. Happy reading! 😃

Apologies for late reply. I have been really busy with work.
And, Bertha was such a mystery in Jane Eyre. An entire book on her perspective sounds really interesting. That’s why I am looking forward to it.
