Weekly Recap: 27 September 2020

Welcome to another weekly recap.

This week has been reasonably great from the blogging standpoint. There is still a lot to learn about scheduling posts, making drafts ahead of time so if you have any tips for me I’d be grateful.

Blog Posts this week:

Monday – I posted a review on The Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa. This book is very close to my heart and I rated it 5 stars. This book is a treat to all the feline lovers as it is narrated by a cat.

Tuesday – I posted a book tag on reading habitsHow I Read on Tuesday. The prompts were entertaining and I had fun answering them.

Wednesday – Wednesday is incomplete without WWW Wednesday. I shared my reading progress and had a good chat with others bloggers.

Thursday – Slumps are horrible. Aren’t they? I curated 5 tried and tested blog posts ideas to get over a slump from my personal experiences. I hope these ideas are of some use.

Friday – On Friday I posted a book review on Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. I’m happy I read this book before the movie comes out next month.

Books I read this week

This week I didn’t read any. Sadly, I’m not able to stick to one book. I’m constantly moving back and forth between pages and switching books.

I have started Girl In White Cotton by Avni Doshi yesterday. This book has been shortlisted for Booker Prize. Let’s hope it works for me and I finish this one.

Quote of the Week

I am just quoting my favourite quote from Lord of the Rings because I don’t have any quote from my current reads.

Even the smallest person can change the course of history.

— Lady Galadriel, Lord of the Rings

Anticipated Book for Next Week

On Instagram, I have started a book club where we will be reading Fredrik Backman’s books once a month starting in October. The book of the month is going to be Anxious People.

How has you week been? Have you read any of these books? If not, any of these titles interest you?
