Genre: Historical fiction
Set in the 1900s when Japan annexed Korea, this story is about the hardships of a Korean family lasting through generations. I am about to finish this book and as of now I have mixed feelings about it.
Recently Read: Normal People by Sally Rooney
I finished this book last week with a sigh feeling. It is an unlikely love story of Marianne and Connell who explore their feelings for each other throughout their lives. The novel is gripping in the beginning but plummets down in the middle hence remained a 3 star. Here is my review where I talk about it in detail.
